🚗 About Woven by Toyota 🚗
Woven by Toyota contributes to Toyota's once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by our history of continuous invention "for the sake of others," our mission is to expand the definition of mobility, enhance its societal contributions, and challenge the status quo of mobility with human-centric innovation.
We operate around four pillars: AD/ADAS technologies for automated driving and advanced driver-assistance systems, the Arene vehicle software production platform for Software Defined Vehicles (SDVs), Woven City as a mobility test course, and Cloud & AI for supporting collaborative infrastructure. Furthermore, essential business functions underpin the implementation of these teams, working together to achieve a "zero-accident society" and "mass production of happiness."
🌟 About the Team 🌟
Arene's mission is to provide a cutting-edge automotive development platform and accelerate the transition to software-defined vehicles through a unified development lifecycle.
The Arene Engineering department integrates all engineering roles, providing tools, data, embedded SDKs, and prototyping tools.
The Systems Engineering team collaborates with customers, product, and project teams to create specifications and designs across Arene. They also facilitate the technical execution of these designs throughout engineering. This team combines traditional and model-based systems engineering approaches to formalize system design and define/continuously improve processes for system and software design.
Both interpersonal and practical hands-on engineering skills are highly valued. Design reviews, prototyping, and support for engineering-level design and execution are expected. The ability to engage and collaborate with customers and engineers across the organization is essential.
You will report to the Team Lead of the Systems Engineering team. This position is on-site.
